Concrete Replacement
Our technicians can achieve dramatic results like those pictured here with our proven concrete raising methods, usually at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Concrete Raising, often referred to as Mud Jacking, works best on driveways, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and similar concrete surfaces. We generally don￿t recommend using concrete raising techniques to correct structures like dwellings or garages.
Existing concrete is broken up with jackhammers and removed.
Forms are set, and sand is brought in. Next, the rebar is installed.
Holes are drilled into the existing concrete to anchor the rebar.
Plastic chairs keep the rebar in the center of the new concrete, strengthening it.
3,500 PSI commercial grade ready-mix concrete is worked into place.
The wet concrete is smoothed using a tool called a Bull Float.
The concrete is troweled to the desired finish and joints are installed for aestetics and for crack prevention.
Once it￿s thoroughly dry, the new concrete will be ready for many years of service.
Customer Testimonials
Mark Stripling knows his stuff! He said what he would do, and then he did what he said he would do. He worked the project until he was satisfied and it was exactly what we wanted and needed to be accomplished. The crew was efficient and cleaned up the worksite nicely. They came when they said they would come, and the project went very smoothly. I would highly recommend this firm for your mud jacking projects. They know what they are doing!
